I don’t know about you but I was sad to see GM file Chapter 11 on Monday.  I got to thinking since GM has some brands for sale now why don’t we get together as a Twitter Community and buy one of their companies.  Hummer is now sold to a company in China but that still leaves Saab and Saturn.  My vote is to buy Saturn.  Look at it this way, if every one who was a member of twitter would throw in $1.00 that should be enough to buy the company lock, stock and barrel.  Of course, I know nothing about running a car company but I’ll bet there are a few auto industry executives in Twitterville who could handle this.  Come on people! Let’s do our part!
